Rustic Deep Stewed OXtails With Cal-Parboiled Rice And Fried Plantain.

Hi guys, sorry it took forever to respond...

this is a one pot meal. just combine all ingredients in a pot and pop in the oven till done..

here is the recipe..


Oxtails 2-3 pounds
1/2 can tomato sauce
Italian seasoning
Salt
onion powder
garlic powder
fresh onion
fresh tomato
fresh celery
fresh ginger
carrots
salt and black pepper
flour (for thickening)

heat up olive or vegetable oil

add cut up vegetables

add oxtails

add tomato sauce

add spices

add stock or water (mix in flour)

taste and adjust seasoning

cover and bake in the oven for 1-1:30 mins or till done/tender/meat falling off the bone.

check every 20-30 mins.


serve with parboiled rice.....


enjoy....
