Wow what a fantastic blog. I cant believe I am just coming across it.You are my dream of Nigerian food. I see you draw your influences from everything you have come across. Brilliant. And I see you love prawns just like I do.

i have a recipe for vegetable soup that's eaten with rice or boiled yam. (In your case it might be boiled sweet potato.) It's nothing special, I fry a mixture of crayfish, fresh pepper, few tomatoes and onions in a little oil, add the corned beef/ minced meat, leave to simmer and dry then add the vegetable (ugwu). I would like your take on anything else to ginger it up. I'm a bit cautious in trying any new ingredients because crayfish and corned beef is already an outlandish combo.
