Fried rice with smoked fish and shrimp.




Ingridients-


1 lb Parboil rice

1 cup mixed chopped celery, onions, garlic, diced reg and green pepper.

1 tps Italian seasoning

3 tbs olive oil

1 tsp butter

Salt and black pepper

Method-


Heat up olive oil and butter in a pot @ medium heat

Add rice and fry for 3-4 minutes

Add 3 cups of water or stock and seasonings

Add dried fish and shrimp

Let cook at low heat till rice is soft and tender

Feel free to to bake in a heated oven @ 365 degrees till done.


Let rest for 5 minutes before serving.

Is there a specific variety of rice grain needed? or any will do?

thanks for the recipe, hhhhi would like to know when the mixed veggies(celery etc) should be added to the rice mix. Also at what stage can it be put in the oven?
