Plantain Fritters.

1 lrg size ripe Plantain
1/4 cup all purpose flour
1 egg
1/2 tbs Salt
1/4 cup milk
Confectioners' sugar
A dash of nutmeg
Vegetable oil


Mash the plantain to a smooth puree
Add flour, egg, sugar and milk and stir with a whisk to a smooth puree
Deep fry by scooping batter into 375 dgrs HOT vegetable oil with hand or spoon.
Let fry till golden brown
Dust lightly dust fritters with confectioners' sugar and serve warm
