Chicken dumplings.

Chicken dumplings-


1lbs skinned and diced breast of chicken
1 cup flour
1 tablespoon dice onion
1tablespoon onion powder
2 teaspoon chopped garlic
1 tablespoon diced celery
1 tablespoon butter
1 teaspoon herbs de provence
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
Italian seasoning
salt to taste
Diced carrots 2 cups stock or water


Heat up butter in a pot (Low Heat)
Add chopped onion, celery, garlic and carrot
Cook for 30 seconds and add stock or water
Adjust seasoning with salt, black pepper, herb or provence and onion powder
Dust cuts of chicken breast with flour and gently add one at a time
Dust cuts of dumplings with with flour and add one at a time
Simmer till dumplings float and tender or done.

Making dumplings

1 cups all-purpose flour
1 tablespoon butter
1 teaspoon salt
1/4 cup ice water

Mix the flour, salt and butter together in a mixing bowl.
Starting from the middle, add ice water a drop at a time
Gently blend in mixture to form a dough
Kneed dough for 30 seconds and set aside

Dust your table with flour
Roll out your dough with a rolling pin on the flour dusted table
Cut the dough into 1/2 -1 inch pieces.
