Fish And Shrimp In Tomato Basil Stew?


1/2 lb skinless fish steaks
1/2 lb deveined shrimp
1/4 cup diced fresh tomatoes
1 tbs chopped onions
1tbs chopped garlic
1 tbs chopped fresh parsley
1 tbs chopped fresh basil
1/4 cup tomato sauce
1tsp dried basil
3 tbs olive oil
1/2 cup of water or fish stock
Salt and pepper to taste


Heat olive oil in a pot or skillet @ medium heat
Add chopped onions,garlic, parsley, basil and let fry for 30 seconds
Add tomato sauce and let cook for 1-2 minutes
Add fish, salt and black pepper and cook for 5 minutes
Add shrimp and cook for 4-5 minutes
Remove from stove and let rest for 5 minutes before serving.
